I wrote this story as part of a broader effort to reclaim my innocence. I think that there is such forgotten magic in stories - they allow our hearts and mind to wander to a place that we need to go. This story is an amalgamation of thoughts, beliefs and experiences that I have picked up along the way on this journey that we call life. It incorporates elements of what is authentically me - a love for nature and animals; an appreciation for stillness and peace; an affinity for movement and growth; a playful childlike innocence; and simply, a love of life. We are constantly growing and evolving. My hope is that this story is a catalyst for you taking inventory of your story and the stories that you tell yourself.
